Limelight Camps list
1. Role Play and Theater Camp

In Role Play & Theater Camp, children explore the world around them through imagination, storytelling, and performance. They learn how to express themselves by creating characters, dressing up, and acting in front of their peers.
The camp combines dress-up, character creation, theater play, and activities like pantomime, allowing children to step into different roles and experience life from new perspectives. In a specially designed space inspired by a theater stage, children can use costumes and props to bring their ideas to life.
This unique combination of play and performance helps children develop confidence not only in expressing themselves, but also in social interactions and group settings, supporting a smoother transition into school environments and everyday communication.
2. Music and Dance Camp

Music & Dance Camp is a fun and energetic experience designed for children who love music, movement, and entertainment. Each day begins with outdoor activities in a nearby green space.
Children are introduced to a variety of music styles from around the world in a simple, engaging way. They listen to both classical and modern music, explore rhythm through dance and movement, and express themselves freely.
The camp also includes a mini music festival experience, where children celebrate through music, dance, and group performances, creating a joyful and memorable experience.
3. Nature Adventure Camp

In Nature Adventure Camp, children experience a unique blend of learning, exploration, and movement in a natural setting. Each day, they spend time outdoors discovering the natural environment around them.
Through guided activities, children learn about the natural world while building awareness and curiosity about their surroundings. Their experience is enriched with physical movement, outdoor games, and music, creating a balanced program that supports both body and mind.
This camp offers a refreshing and immersive experience for children who are curious about nature.
4. Animal Discovery Camp

In Animal Discovery Camp, children explore the fascinating world of animals through hands-on experiences, visual learning, and guided activities. In a specially designed indoor space, they are introduced to a variety of animals, including fish, turtles, crabs, and select small reptiles.
Children learn about animal habitats, behaviors, and ecosystems through educational cards, videos, and interactive discussions, with a special focus on wildlife in Canada. The space itself is designed to inspire curiosity with walls beautifully illustrated by a local Vancouver artist, creating a warm and engaging environment that brings the world of animals closer to them, making children feel as if they’ve stepped into the world of animals.
This camp offers a unique and enjoyable experience for children who are curious about animals and eager to learn more about the natural world.
5. Little Engineers Camp

In Little Engineers Camp, children are introduced to simple engineering and early STEM concepts through hands-on exploration and everyday
problem-solving. They learn how to observe the world around them, understand how things work, and think creatively to find solutions to both small and big challenges.
As part of this experience, children build a simple robot together using a guided kit (provided by families), helping them understand the basics of design, structure, and function. They are also introduced to 3D printing in a fun and accessible way, where each child can choose a design and bring it to life — transforming their ideas into something real they can see, touch, and take home.
Through this process, children not only explore innovation and creativity but also build confidence, independence, and foundational skills that support future learning in STEM fields. It’s a unique experience where imagination turns into creation.
6. Cooking Camp

At our Cooking Camp, children take part in daily hands-on kitchen activities, preparing simple meals and snacks from start to finish. They learn basic cooking skills such as mixing, measuring, and following step-by-step instructions, while exploring a variety of ingredients and flavors.
More than just cooking, this camp is a rich sensory and creative experience. Children actively make and build their own food from scratch — using their hands to mix, shape, and transform ingredients. They touch and explore different textures, smell fresh ingredients, and fully engage in the process of creating. Through play, discovery, and hands-on involvement, they experience the joy of making, the excitement of trying something new, and the pride that comes from creating something all on their own.
